The Online Marriage Preparation Course offered by the Snehalaya Family Service Centre was introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic to accommodate couples unable to attend in-person sessions. This option is primarily intended for couples within the Archdiocese of Bombay. If both partners are from outside Mumbai, they may not be eligible for certification upon completion.
This online course is specifically designed for situations where one partner is in Mumbai and the other is employed or resides abroad / outside Mumbai, making physical attendance for the MPC challenging.

👥 Eligibility:
Couples must submit a letter of approval from their respective Parish Priest or Parish Office permitting them to enroll for the online MPC.
The online content is in English hence proficiency in both spoken and written English is a prerequisite.
Course Fee: ₹5,000 per couple
Online MPC Process:
Couples who meet the criteria for the Online MPC must contact the Snehalaya office during working hours or send an email to initiate the process.

Both partners are required to complete viewing the online materials and submit separate hardcopies of their responses directly to the Snehalaya office for review no later than three months before the wedding.
Please schedule an appointment in advance by call or WhatsApp 9321179831 during office hours. The partner in Mumbai must visit the Snehalaya office to submit the two sets of completed answers with the module checklist + the questionnaire along with the following documents:
Permission Letter from your Parish Priest / Parish Office (Original)
Check the date and availability of seats before making the payment for the course and catering.
Catholics and Christians of other denominations, copy of Baptism Certificate (not older than six months).
Persons of other faith will need to provide the photocopy of their Aadhar Card or Municipal Birth Certificate or School / College Leaving Certificate.
1 set of recent passport size, clear photographs (of the to be bride & groom)
PLEASE NOTE - if one of you was married before, i.e. in case of any previous marriage, whether it took place within or outside the Catholic Church, and regardless of whether either party was Catholic or not – you will need to submit a divorce decree and copy of the annulment.
Important Note:
The Marriage Preparation Course Certificate will carry the names of the couple as it appears on proof submitted.
